TypeCon is the national conference sponsored by the the Society of Typographic Aficionados and an open community dedicated to supporting and advancing the typographic arts and design education.
Renee’s talk shared her research which focuses on the development of digital and physical multi-sensory tools that seek to address literacy problems. She covered her current work creating See Word Reading®, a multi-sensory tool that uses dynamic letterforms to teach early reading principles through a suite of digital iPad applications.
Renee also shared her work on new forms of typography to help improve literacy for dyslexic readers and more. Her talk was well received by typographers, type designers, and educators.
Thanks for all the support and well wishes to all who attended her talk.
